Four young people are spending Christmas not at home but on a psychiatric ward. Lara is seventeen, from an academic family, and the drugs she took are coming back on her. Fedja is sixteen and is bullied relentlessly at school. Timo is seventeen, prone to violence, and has just been moved off the closed ward. Alex, faced with her parents tearing each other apart, has made a decision of her own. The four have nothing in common and first of all have to get used to each other. Theresa von Eltz directs, with Jella Haase and Paula Beer. The ward's doctor, Wolf, is a contested figure because of his unorthodox methods. The therapy sessions go somewhere nobody expected, and the four end up with a Christmas of another kind.
