A Dog in a Drawer

There is a boy of five. His mother and father are divorced. He spends his whole day at home in front of the television. His mother works full time. His father only calls in now and then. The boy’s one dream is a puppy. He and three friends decide to buy one. They act on the decision at once. The children are ready to do anything for the animal. But their relatives and neighbours do not understand them. Nobody looks kindly on the wish. The puppy is sent off to a village in the end. The boy is left alone with the television once more. Veselin Prahov and Martin Stoyanov take the leads in Dimitar Petrov’s Bulgarian film of 1982, which runs eighty minutes.
