A Respectable Family

Arash is an Iranian academic. He has lived in the West for many years. One day he returns to his country to teach. The place he goes to is Shiraz. It is far from Tehran, where his mother lives. The return begins as a short visit. Things do not go that way. A series of matters comes up from inside the family. Some of them are matters of money. Without meaning to, Arash lands in the middle of the knot. He no longer knows the country either. What he sees is not the place he remembers. Then his father dies. With the death, what the family has become comes out. Behind the respectable name there is something else. Babak Hamidian and Mehrdad Sedighian appear in the ninety minute film, a French and Iranian co-production Massoud Bakhshi finished in 2012.
