Aban + Khorshid

The film was drawn from real events. Aban and Khorshid are two young people who love each other. Both of them are men. In the country they live in that is treated as a crime. The film finds them in the hours just before their execution. The story is fitted into that short stretch of time. It turns back in between to the day they met. Their first meeting and the time they had together are shown. The bond between them is conveyed in quiet scenes. The film does not show the side that passed judgement. Nor is the trial itself recounted. In the frame there are only two people. The telling is short and direct. Mojean Aria and Bobby Naderi appear in the fifteen minute film, an American production Darwin Serink finished in 2014.
