About 12

Juana is twelve years old. She goes to a British school on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. At school she is failing both socially and academically. The exams that will decide her future are a week away. But her daily routine does not change. She goes to class, then tries to put her social life back together. The attempts come to nothing. Juana passes through these strange days apparently indifferent. The account rests on that indifference. The school presses on her both as exams and as a social world. It is compressed into a single week. Javier Burin Heras and Camila Bontá are also in the cast. Rosario Shanly and María Passo take the leads in Martín Shanly’s Argentine and Austrian coproduction of 2015.
