The body of a young man is found in a river. Once he is identified it emerges that Vincent had been going with men for money. Two police officers, Hervé and Karine, work the case. The film moves on two timelines at once: on one side the officers advancing step by step, on the other how Vincent and his girlfriend Rebecca met a few months earlier and how they got into this. It is Frédéric Mermoud's first feature. The mould is the police story, but the film is not interested in solving the murder; its real subject is how two young people got there and how nobody noticed. Emmanuelle Devos plays the woman officer and keeps the character at a distance from her work. Nina Meurisse and Cyril Descours are the couple. The story accuses nobody and clears nobody either. Ninety-three minutes.
