The story is that of a blind cook. He comes upon both a new love and the return of his sight. Being able to see does not make his life easier; on the contrary, it makes him see things he had not known until then. The film builds its tension from there and the story moves through turns nobody expects. The account does not present blindness as a lack; it gives it as the way the man had built his world. That the new images contradict what he already knew is the real engine of the film. A love story and a crime plot run through each other. Kalaiyarasan and Janani Iyer appear in Rohin Venkatesan’s hundred and twenty minute Indian film, completed in 2017.
