What After Everything Is About

Elliot is twenty three, living in New York with no particular thought for tomorrow, and in the same week he starts seeing Mia he is handed a serious cancer diagnosis. What separates the film from the shape you expect is that it refuses to end when the treatment does. The illness turns out not to be the real test; whether two people who bonded inside a crisis still fit each other once it passes is. Hannah Marks and Joey Power wrote and directed it together, though only one of them shows up in this record.
