Almost Human

The documentary opens up the relationship we have with technology. For it Jeppe Rønde brings together ten researchers. Among them are philosophers, anthropologists, archaeologists and programmers. There is a robot as well, and it is part of the discussion. Each of them sets up thought experiments from their own field. What comes out of it is this: our relationship with technology is as much a relationship with ourselves. The film leaves its questions open rather than answering them. The discussion looks at people more than at technology itself. Kirsten Hastrup and Rubina Raja are among those who speak. Stephen Fry and Hiroshi Ishiguro are among those who speak. The ninety one minute Danish documentary was completed in 2019.
