Renato is a cameraman raising two children on his own. His wife left him for another man, came back, and left again. Eleven-year-old Tommi is growing up in the middle of that traffic, carrying his father's temper, his mother's indecision, and the questions nobody thinks to ask him. The film's point of view belongs entirely to the boy. It is Kim Rossi Stuart's first film as director, and he plays the father as well. It screened in the Directors' Fortnight at Cannes in 2006. It presents a family coming apart not as a drama but as small damage repeated inside ordinary days.
