What Antenna Is About

Yuichiro is a university student. There is a wound in his family that never closed. His younger sister disappeared fifteen years ago. She did not come home from school. There has been no word since. The household lives with that gap. Yuichiro looks for himself elsewhere. He spends his nights in private clubs. The film shows this without dwelling on detail. His younger brother says something else. He claims he can sense their sister. He calls it an antenna. Each member of the family copes in a different way. The story comes from a novel by Randy Taguchi. Ryo Kase and Akemi Kobayashi appear in the hundred and seventeen minute film, a Japanese production Kazuyoshi Kumakiri finished in 2004.
