Athomugam

Sunil Dev's 2024 Tamil film follows Martin, who installs a tracking app on his girlfriend's phone. What began as a joke turns up someone unexpected. The film makes surveillance the engine of its plot. The narrative shows how trust breaks and does not vindicate Martin; the technology stands not as a device but as his own choice. The cast are unknown. The production is small. The tone is tense and the close hard. Who it's for: those who like independent Tamil thrillers. Who it's not for: viewers expecting high production value; the film was made with limited means.
