B.T.S. (Better Than Sex)

The film is set in Taiwan. It tells several stories that link into one another. On one of the lines there is a teenage schoolboy. The boy keeps to himself at school. A girl in his class is interested in him. But he does not notice it. He becomes friends with a bookseller in the neighbourhood. When the man dies he leaves the boy a key. On the second line there are four young men. They go after a legendary dagger. On the third there is a Japanese television crew. The crew is filming a programme on the streets of Taiwan. A very sure of himself police officer moves through it as well. As the lines touch, things get tangled. Michael Wong Kong-Leong and Ginny Liu take the leads in Su Chaobin’s Taiwanese film of 2002.
