Back Home

Robert is a young writer going through a hard time. He decides to go back to the village he was born in. His mother died three years ago and he has not been there since. For more than ten years he had visited his parents only now and then. That distance shows in his relationship with his father. In the village he meets two former classmates. One is Petrica, once his closest friend, now married with children. The other is Paula, his sweetheart when they were young. Paula is divorced after an unhappy marriage and works at a local shop. Alexandru Papadopol and Ioana Flora take the leads in Andrei Cohn’s Romanian film of 2015.
