The account takes off from real events. At its centre is a young mother. Her son is autistic. The woman wants him to go to school. But the system is not ready for it. The schools will not take the boy. She goes from one institution to another. At every door another paper is asked for. The process stretches over years. Even so the woman does not give up. In the end her insistence brings a change. A rule in the Polish education system is altered. The account follows that struggle across the years. Filip Plawiak is in the cast as well. Malgorzata Gorol and Andrzej Seweryn take the leads, with Marta Malikowska also in the cast, in Jacek Lusinski’s Polish film of 2022.
