Badri

Badri is a young man who is a constant source of trouble for his father, so the father pins his hopes on his elder son Vetri, expected to win the kickboxing championship. Janu, the girl next door, is in love with Badri, but he sees her only as a good friend and a source of money. He becomes taken with a wealthy girl and starts behaving as though he were rich himself. In time he understands his mistakes; when his brother is left bedridden, he decides to fight in the championship match to redeem himself in his father’s eyes. He wins the bout and at the same time accepts Janu’s love. Vijay and Bhumika Chawla appear in P.A. Arun Prasad’s hundred and sixty minute Tamil film, completed in 2001.
