What Thammudu Is About
Subrahmanyam, the youngest son of the family, is wasting his life; his father is always scolding him while his older brother Chakri, a boxer, and his friend Jaanu look out for him. When the young man falls for a girl called Lovely he tells her he is rich, and to keep the lie going he takes whatever he asks for from Jaanu, who does it because she is in love with him. As the lie grows it becomes clear who has been giving what to whom, and late in the day he sees what real love is. The film keeps the family bond and the boxing scenes inside the same story. Pawan Kalyan appears in P.A. Arun Prasad’s hundred and sixty minute Telugu film, completed in 1999.
