What Bent Is About
Berlin, 1934. Max is living in the clubs when one night everything changes and he has to run. He ends up in a camp, where he makes a decision: he hides that he is gay and wears the Jewish star instead, because in the camp's hierarchy the pink triangle sits at the bottom. Horst, beside him, refuses to take his off. In a yard where they carry rocks back and forth, the two build a relationship without touching or even looking. Adapted from Martin Sherman's play, and very hard going.
