Big Jet

Francisco is growing up beside his father. He spends his days with him out on the roads. The father is a driver. The truck he drives is called Big Jet. It is used to clean out the city’s cesspools. The city has next to no proper sanitation. The boy takes little interest in that work. What draws him are his uncle’s ideas. The uncle is a libertarian and anarchist artist. Chico meanwhile goes through his first love. That experience shows him his own way. He sees that he wants to be a poet. The account is set between childhood and adolescence. Matheus Nachtergaele and Rafael Nicácio take the leads in Cláudio Assis’s Brazilian film of 2015.
