What Björk: Biophilia Live Is About

A record of the multidimensional concert project built around Bjork's eighth studio album. Nick Fenton and Peter Strickland film the performance and cut animation, science and nature footage into it, so that the music on stage and the cells, planets and waves on screen belong to one idea. David Attenborough's voice enters the project as well. Across ninety seven minutes this is not an ordinary concert film but an attempt to carry the album's own form onto a screen. Even for someone with no particular attachment to Bjork's music, it is an unusual visual experience.
