Black Sheep

Magda and Arek have been married twenty five years and look, from outside, like a well matched couple. They care for an ailing grandfather, and their son Tomek still lives with them, with a long standing girlfriend and a YouTube channel that has found an audience. The balance of the house rests on a few silences: Magda teaches at a Catholic secondary school and hides that she prefers women, Arek has been out of work a long time, Tomek is mostly minding his own interests. When Magda gets tired of hiding and makes her own decision, the household starts coming apart. Aleksander Pietrzak plays it as family comedy rather than tragedy and tries to end it without punishing anyone. Arkadiusz Jakubik and Magdalena Popławska lead.
