In the middle of the 1990s the Reykjavik drug trade stopped being a small and relatively harmless world and turned into something far more aggressive. The film tells that shift through a fictional gang that takes over the market: Stebbi, an ordinary university student, is pulled in by his childhood friend Toti and is soon bound to a man named Bruno and the violence he brings with him. This was Óskar Thór Axelsson's first feature, adapted from Stefán Máni's novel, with Nicolas Winding Refn among its executive producers. It contains rape and sustained violence.
