Blondie on a Budget

Dagwood wants to join a club. The club is about trout fishing. That takes money. Blondie has a wish of her own. What she wants is a fur coat. The household budget will not cover both. The house grows tense over it. Then someone from the past turns up. Her name is Joan. She is an old girlfriend of Dagwood’s. Jealousy takes over. Then there is a prize draw at the cinema. Money comes out of the draw. The matter of the coat is settled that way. The film is one part of the Blondie series. Penny Singleton, Arthur Lake and Rita Hayworth appear in the seventy two minute film. The dog Daisy is in the cast as well, an American production Frank R. Strayer finished in 1940.
