Blondie Brings Up Baby

The Bumsteads are an ordinary family. The mother, Blondie, keeps the household running. The father, Dagwood, goes off to work. Their son is six years old. At home they call him Baby Dumpling. The boy starts school. He goes missing that same day. Dagwood searches the city for him. The alarm spreads through the family. The boy is in fact safe. He is spending the afternoon with a girl named Melinda. She has been ill and in bed for a long time. With her new playmate she gets up. She takes a few steps across the room. Penny Singleton and Arthur Lake appear in the seventy two minute film, an American production Frank R. Strayer finished in 1939.
