What Blue Denim Is About
There are two high-school students. Both are inexperienced and do not know much of the world. After one night they are faced with something they did not expect. They do not know how to deal with it. Opening up to the adults does not come easily either. The question of abortion is inside the account. Marriage is one of the paths discussed. The film tells this in the shape of drama and romance. The account does not leave the two of them. How the adults react is another strand of the story. Carol Lynley and Brandon De Wilde take the leads, with Macdonald Carey and Marsha Hunt also in the cast, in Philip Dunne’s American film of 1959.
