What Boomerang Is About
Antoine takes his sister Agathe back to Noirmoutier, the island where they spent their childhood, for her birthday. Their mother died there when they were small, and the family has not spoken about it since. An accident around that trip unlocks everything: Antoine wants to know how his mother died and his father will not tell him. Adapted from a novel by Tatiana de Rosnay. A quiet family drama that moves until the secret opens, with Mélanie Laurent and Laurent Lafitte as the siblings. It is built on how long silence can hold a family, not on suspense.
