What Buddy Goes West Is About
One of the comic Westerns Bud Spencer made in the eighties. Buddy is an outlaw drifting around on horseback with nothing much to do; when his Native American companion accidentally steals a bag of surgical instruments, the town takes him for a doctor, and rather than correct the mistake Buddy settles into it. There are far more fists than guns, nobody dies, and every brawl ends in the same noisy joke. The former heavyweight Joe Bugner plays opposite him. Made long after the serious spaghetti Western had closed, and built entirely to the Spencer formula.
