What Who's Singin' Over There? Is About

5 April 1941, the day before Belgrade is bombed. A battered bus sets off along a country road in the heart of Serbia carrying a First World War veteran, an admirer of the Germans, a young man who wants to be a singer, a hypochondriac, a hunter, a newly married couple and two Roma musicians. The owner and his slow-witted son are trying to get this lot to the capital. Tyres burst, a bridge collapses, fights break out. Šijan lands the comedy somewhere that takes back every laugh.
