How I Was Systematically Destroyed by Idiots

Babi Papuška is a man without a home. He has read a great deal and takes himself for a Marxist. He cannot get over the death of Che Guevara. He wants a life spent among revolutions and workers’ risings. The life he actually has is the opposite of that. He is convinced he is ill all the time. He is sour at the world. He blames his former employer for everything that went wrong. The account is built as comedy and as drama at once. What it aims at is the privileged layer of Yugoslavia. A separate actor plays Babi as a young man. The film moves between the two periods, with Danilo Bata Stojković in the older role and Svetislav Gončić in the younger. Jelisaveta Sablić and Rade Marković also appear in the ninety eight minute film, a Yugoslav production Slobodan Šijan finished in 1983.
