What Bully Is About

A documentary that follows five families through one school year. Some of the children are still at school, and the camera sees what happens on the bus, in the corridor and on the field directly. Two of the families have lost a child to suicide and are trying to turn that into a campaign. Lee Hirsch also puts the school administrators in frame, and the hardest scenes are not the bullying itself but the adults explaining it away as ordinary. Difficult material, and it deals with suicide throughout.
