In a crumbling mansion in Zacatecas, a teenage brother and sister live with their dying mother. They have almost no ties to the outside, and their dependence on each other has grown dangerous over time; neither has a life they could build alone. As the mother weakens the balance inside the house begins to break down and everything coming from outside looks like a threat.
