Zareen looks after her ageing parents in Karachi, in a Sindhi family. The family farm, some hours out of the city, is on her shoulders as well. Her sister Zara has been in London for years. When their father’s heart worsens Zara comes back. But once home, what she has to handle is not only her father’s illness. There is something between the two sisters that has been building for years. The film opens the old accounts inside the family slowly. The account holds drama and comedy together. The hundred and twenty five minutes are given to a short stretch of time. Aamina Sheikh and Sanam Saeed take the leads, with Adnan Malik also in the cast, in Asim Abbasi’s Pakistani and British coproduction of 2018.
