Ten year old Eli is taken out of the home where he was mistreated and placed in an institution not much better than a youth prison, where he turns into an angry, frightened child. At the same time Ken, an investment adviser, signs up as a counsellor at a summer camp for children in foster care in order to impress an important client, and Eli is the boy assigned to him. The man has come for the wrong reasons and the boy has decided in advance to hate the camp. Within a week both of them end up somewhere they did not expect, and the more the man learns about the boy’s past the more his own calculation falls apart. Jacob Roebuck’s hundred and eleven minute American film started from real camp stories and was completed in 2013.
