What Can Is About

Ayşe and Cemal are a couple living in Istanbul. Some years have passed since they married and they cannot have a child. When the ordinary way does not work they get hold of a baby by illegal means. Cemal is the one who leads them to that decision. But Ayşe cannot take the child as her own, not from the first day. As the child turns one, Cemal leaves the house. Ayşe looks for ways to give the child back and gets nowhere. The film sets the two of them on roads that part. Selen Uçer and Serdar Orçin appear in Raşit Çelikezer’s Turkish film of 2012, which took a special jury prize at Sundance.
