Chariton's Choir

Chariton Ulianov is a school headmaster. He works in a small provincial town on Corfu. He is a man who does not hide his appetite for life. Wine, good company and women belong to the same table for him. He gets on well with his pupils. He tries to pass his own outlook on to them. His real passion is the school choir. He is preparing the choir for a competition. Meanwhile a new army commander arrives in the town. The two men fall for the same woman. The rivalry between them grows. The pupils, for their part, are facing the difficulties of adolescence. In those years the country is under a military dictatorship. The pressure reaches the town as well. Georges Corraface and Maria Nafpliotou appear in the hundred and thirty five minute film, a Greek production Grigoris Karantinakis finished in 2005.
