Charles and Lucie

Charles and Lucie are an old couple. They have no money. Charles works as a concierge. Lucie buys and sells antiques. She is not much good at it. Their days are all the same. Then word arrives. They have come into an inheritance. It is a grand house in the south of France. The two of them set off at once. The journey turns out to be long. What they were expecting and what they find do not match. Along the way they come to know each other again. The film moves between comedy and feeling. Daniel Ceccaldi, Ginette Garcin and Georges Claisse appear in the ninety eight minute film, a French production Nelly Kaplan finished in 1979.
