In Russia there is an old society of billiards players spread across the country, and many of them have become millionaires. The old teachers they owe this to mostly live poor and alone. The new generation decides to put money together and buy their teachers a large house with decent food, medical care and clean air, to make their last years better. Everyone gives a share except a man named Savitsky; he then changes his mind, sets an ambush on the road and takes both his own money and everything collected. The society delivers its punishment by sending a master nicknamed Classic, who plays for large sums. Sergey Nikonenko plays the lead in Giorgi Shengelia’s hundred minute Russian film, completed in 1998.
