What Cobweb Is About
Korea in the 1970s. Director Kim has fixed on reshooting the ending of a film he has already finished. The difficulty is that the censorship board will not allow it, the producer will not release the money, and the actors cannot follow the rewritten ending. Kim shuts himself on the set anyway and tries to shoot the whole thing in two days. Kim Jee-woon directed, with Song Kang-ho in the lead. The film inside the film is black and white and the outer layer is in colour. It shows from the inside what censorship meant in Korea.
