What Corner Gas: The Movie Is About
Out in the middle of Saskatchewan, forty kilometres from nowhere, not much is still going on in the town of Dog River. Then it emerges that the town's finances have been mismanaged for years, and the debt is large enough that people will have to pack up and leave. As Brent and the rest make one last push to save the place, they find a chain corporation's plan behind the whole thing. David Storey directs this continuation of Corner Gas, which ran six seasons in Canada. The cast is unchanged, and Brent Butt both appears in it and has a writing credit. The show's dry, undramatic humour survives intact.
