A young illustrator recovering from an accident is caught between the nurse who is caring for him and a friend he has known since university, for whom he has long felt something in secret. One of them belongs to the life he is living now, the other comes from the past and stands for something never said. The film takes up that uncertain space between friendship and love and shows how much unsaid feeling can gather. The account uses the calm and direct register of Thai stories about the young. The account gives the nurse a place of her own as well, rather than leaving her as the second point of a triangle. Sunny Suwanmethanon plays the lead in Khomkrit Treewimol’s hundred and thirty two minute Thai film, completed in 2005.
