You're Crazy

Yunus wants to leave everything he owns to Ferit, the son he never acknowledged. He sells the property, converts it into bonds, and hides the certificates somewhere nobody knows about, then dies before he can say where. Ferit arrives in the town and takes work with a photographer, meets his cousin Alev, and the two fall for each other. The relatives who want the inheritance set about separating them and hunting for the certificates at the same time. Directed by Ergin Orbey, it belongs to the run of comedies Tarik Akan made in the seventies. Inheritance, hidden papers and a thwarted romance are about as standard as Yesilcam gets; what distinguishes this one is the pace and the presence of Adile Nasit. It runs seventy-five minutes and never slows down.
