Keshya is a plain man living in a village. One day he says he saw something under a tree. What he saw, he says, was a god. At first nobody believes him. Then word spreads through the village. After that people start coming from the towns around. A temple is built where the tree stands. The village changes in no time. Shops, hotels and buses arrive. Once money starts flowing nobody complains. Politics works its way in as well. A man called Bhau stands against it. In his view the money should have gone elsewhere. Girish Kulkarni and Nana Patekar take the leads, with Dilip Prabhavalkar and Sonali Kulkarni also in the cast, in Umesh Vinayak Kulkarni’s Indian film of 2011.
