Dirty Pair: Project Eden

The planet Agerna is rich in vizorium, the mineral without which there is no space travel. The mining operations are attacked one after another and two states start blaming each other. The 3WA sends its two best agents to sort it out: Kei and Yuri. They call themselves the Lovely Angels; everyone else calls them the Dirty Pair, because everywhere they go gets destroyed. On the planet there is a scientist and a thief with a taste for wine. What comes up from under the vizorium is nothing like what anyone expected. Koichi Mashimo directs; eighty-one minutes, from Haruka Takachiho's novels, with Kyoko Tongu voicing Kei and Saeko Shimazu voicing Yuri. The series was watched outside Japan in the eighties and became one of the best known science fiction animes of the period.
