Dragon Ball Z: The World's Strongest

One of the films that came out of the Dragon Ball Z series. In the north there is a laboratory that has waited frozen under the ice for years. Inside are a scientist's brain and the machines keeping it alive. The dragon balls are gathered, a wish is made and the laboratory thaws. The scientist starts working again. He has one aim: to find himself a new body and become the strongest in the world. For that he targets Goku first and then his son. His assistants are biologically manufactured fighters, each fitted with a different ability, and each member of the group gets an opponent of his own. The film is short, about sixty minutes. The narrative is set up quickly and most of it is given to the fights. The fortress under the snow and the glacier landscapes are the most striking thing visually. In the Japanese version Goku and Gohan are voiced by the same performer, Masako Nozawa. Daisuke Nishio directed. It is the second feature from the series and is not directly connected to the events of the show. An episode that goes straight for its target for followers of the series and anyone who likes fight animation. For a viewer who does not know it, the film introduces no characters and passes too many names in a short time.
