What Don't Lose Your Head Is About
The guillotine is working overtime in revolutionary France. When word reaches England, two noblemen, Sir Rodney Ffing and Lord Darcy Pue, decide to rescue their French counterparts. Rodney is a master of disguise and becomes famous as the Black Fingernail, while Camembert and Bidet of the French secret police fail repeatedly to catch him. An unabashed parody of the Scarlet Pimpernel. It is a Carry On film, though on first release the words Carry On were not even in the title. Sidney James, Kenneth Williams and Charles Hawtrey are in their usual positions. The jokes are cheap and the pace does not let up.
