What Drushyam Is About
Rambabu, who runs a cable business, lives an ordinary life with his wife Jyothi and their two daughters; he left school early and spends his free time watching films. One day his family is drawn without meaning to into a serious crime, and to protect them Rambabu starts using the only thing he has: what he has learned from the thousands of films he has watched. The tension comes not from pursuit but from a man reconstructing memory and testimony. This is one of several versions of the same screenplay made across India in different languages, all of them descended from the Malayalam original. The actor Sripriya directs, with Venkatesh and Meena in the leads. How it ends is left unspoiled here.
