In a city in Kerala where violence has become part of daily life, two young people fall in love. Their families stand on opposite sides politically. As the love story goes on, the reckonings of the circles they belong to come into it. The film does not hold political violence at a distance as background; it tells it as the thing that directly shapes two lives. That nobody chooses which side they are born on lies under the account. The account does not put one side in the right; it shows that both produce the same result. The hundred and fifty two minutes are used to carry the breadth of this relation and what surrounds it. Shane Nigam and Nimisha Sajayan appear in B. Ajithkumar’s Indian film, completed in 2018.
