Fairy Tales for Emma

Petr Miller works for the immigration office in London. He lives alone and does not want his routine disturbed. One day a call comes from Prague. A woman has been in a road accident and is in hospital. She has named Petr as guardian for her eight year old daughter Ema. She has also said that he is the girl’s father. Petr did not know this before. He travels to Prague without much willingness. He has to look after Ema. The distance between him and the child is wide to begin with. As the days pass they begin to settle. Along the way Petr meets a hotel manager named Marie. Life in the city goes differently from what he expected. Raising a child turns his order upside down. The film tells this as a romantic comedy. Anna Geislerová and Ondřej Vetchý appear in the film, a Czech production Rudolf Havlík finished in 2016.
