Fallen Angels Paradise

Tabel grew up inside a wealthy family. One day he walks away from that life. He builds himself an altogether different circle. The people around him live on the margins. He spends his days with them, in an arrangement with no rules. Then Tabel dies. His family wants to claim the body. His daughter tries to give him a proper burial. His friends will not agree to it. They take the body away. They want to see him off in their own fashion. The corpse passes back and forth between two worlds. The account draws a black humour out of that struggle. Two ways of living are set against each other. The film opens up the question of which of them deserves more respect. Mahmoud Hemida and Lebleba appear in the seventy seven minute film, an Egyptian production Osama Fawzy finished in 2000.
