Olivia and Matthew are twins, eighteen, and too close to be thought of separately. Matthew dies in an accident. Olivia does not accept it, and her brother's voice stays in her head. The voice tells her not to eat, and she listens. Tommy Bertelsen directs. Troian Bellisario wrote the screenplay and plays Olivia. Tom Felton plays Matthew. Bellisario wrote it out of her own history; she has spoken openly about being treated for anorexia as an adolescent and about building the film on that. Its most original move is to stage the eating disorder as a voice rather than an image. The illness is not represented by weigh ins or mirror scenes but by a character who talks constantly, persuades and negotiates. That is a different approach from most films that describe this from outside. It remained a small production and never found wide distribution, circulating mainly on digital platforms. Who it is for: viewers who want drama about eating disorders and grief written from inside. Who it is not for: the illness is shown in detail and may be triggering for anyone who has been through something similar.
